DESCRIPTION:At Relentless Church we believe that small groups are an essential part of our church community. Our small groups provide a supportive environment where you can grow in your relationship with God\, ask questions\, and receive prayer and encouragement from others. We want to invite you to join one of our small groups and experience life-changing connections with others as we share time together through organized bible study and fellowship.  \nThis Spring we will be doing a 6-week study from RightNow Media called What Does the Bible Say? The Bible has a lot to say about life\, relationships\, and how to commune with God. But it’s also an epic story of how God\, in his love\, created the world\, sustained it through the evil of sin\, and sent his Son to save it. In this six-session series\, speaker and author Sharon Hodde Miller will answer the question\, “What does the Bible say?” From original creation to new creation\, we will learn how God’s covenant faithfulness is ultimately displayed in the work of Jesus and the mission of the church. \nSign Up for a Spring Small Group HERE

SUMMARY:Kairos Prison Ministry
DESCRIPTION:Kairos is a ministry whose mission is to develop a Christian community inside prisons. The program brings leaders together\, in both male and female institutions\, for a 3 ½ day Weekend led by same gender Kairos volunteers. The Weekend is based on: a series of talks\, discussions\, chapel meditations\, and creating a Christian community. For many participants\, the Kairos Weekend creates the desire to become a Christian\, and for others the desire to continue their spiritual growth. \nThere are 3 ways to partner with Kairos in this ministry: \n\nPrayer – We are asking you to commit to praying for the team of volunteers going in to serve at Central Prison in Raleigh next month\, and by also praying for the incarcerated participants. The Kairos Weekend is March 4 – March 7.  Please stop by the Kairos table in the front lobby to sign the prayer chain. \nSponsor a Meal – For $10 you can sponsor a meal for one of the residents on the inside.\nBake cookies for Kairos – Kairos has often been referred to as the “cookie ministry” on the inside because every time Kairos enters a prison we bring a dozen cookies for every resident and staff member in the prison.  Homemade cookies are a small thing to us on the outside\, but to someone who has been incarcerated for a long time\, they are priceless.  The fact that someone cared enough to actually bake a cookie for them is profound.  The Kairos team uses these cookies to help show the love of Christ from their outside brothers and sisters in Christ.
