SUMMARY:Summer Tables at Relentless
DESCRIPTION:SIGN UP TO HOST A TABLE \nWhat is Tabling? Tabling is the act of investing relationally with one another over a meal\, and we’re committed to making tabling a way of life at Relentless Church. \nWhy would we table as a church? To give people the opportunity to meet new people\, experience fellowship\, and share a meal together while being in a home. \nHow often?  Three opportunities this summer (June\, July and August). Multiple tables will all be meeting and eating together the same week of each month. \nWhat is expected of a host? Hosts will sign up with the date\, time and location of their table (your specific address will not be posted online). Hosts will decide how many people beyond their family they would like to host in their home for the meal. Hosts will decide their menu and communicate to their table what they would like them to bring (if that is how you decide to do it). Once registration closes\, hosts will send the address to their table along with any other instructions. \nWhat can guests expect? Sign up on the Relentless website where you can chose a table based on what day\, time and location works best for you. Receive address and specifics from host. Be ready and excited to meet new people! \n(Registration to attend Tables will open in June) \nWhen: Tables will meet the following weeks: \n\nJune 22 – 28\nJuly 19 – 25\nAugust 16 – 22\n\nKendall Vanderslice in her book\, We Will Feast\, states\, “God created us with two basic needs: to draw nutrition and energy from food\, and to find companionship in sharing life with others. At the table\, not only are these needs met\, they can be met with great delight and joy as we commune with one another\, with God\, and with God’s creation as well.”
