Honduras Trip – November 2026

November 1, 2026 @ 12:30 pm - November 15, 2026 @ 1:30 pm

Relentless Church is committed to reaching people beyond our borders with the love of Jesus. Since 2018, we have partnered with Give Hope 2 Kids, a Christ-centered ministry in La Ceiba, Honduras dedicated to providing safe, loving FAMILY environments for children who have been abandoned, abused, or left without a stable home. Over the years, we’ve developed a relationship with this community, and our heart is not only to support from afar, but to show up in person—serving, encouraging, and sharing Christ’s love face-to-face.

We are excited to announce our return trip to Honduras in November 2026. Final dates will be determined once flights open and our team is formed, but the trip will be 7–10 days within November 1–15, 2026.

During this trip, we will stay and serve with Give Hope 2 Kids, participating in meaningful work that directly supports their mission of helping children heal, grow, and encounter God’s love. Expect a hands-on experience—from assisting with projects on their two campuses (Urraco and Roma), to supporting local school improvements, to learning about sustainable agriculture and initiatives that help the ministry thrive.

This trip is designed to stretch your faith, broaden your worldview, and deepen your compassion for others. Give Hope 2 Kids emphasizes the importance of volunteers entering with a flexible attitude, an open heart, and a willingness to unplug from everyday distractions so you can fully experience the culture, the people, and God’s work in this community.

Honduras Mission Trip – Q & A

What organization are we partnering with?

We are partnering with Give Hope 2 Kids, a Christian nonprofit serving children in the La Ceiba region of Honduras. Their ministry focuses on providing trauma-informed family homes—not an orphanage model—where kids can heal and grow within healthy parental relationships. They also support education and sustainability initiatives within the local community.

What will we be doing on the trip?

Teams typically:

  • Assist with school improvement projects in nearby villages
  • Support campus work such as agriculture, construction, or maintenance
  • Engage in relationship-building with staff, families, and community members
  • Participate in ministry opportunities, worship, and devotional times

The goal is to join the ministry’s vision and contribute to lasting impact—not just complete tasks.

Where will we stay?

We will stay on one of Give Hope 2 Kids’ two campuses:

  • Urraco Campus – Mountain location; home to 40+ children living in family homes
  • Roma Campus – Near the coast; houses university students and additional family homes
Both campuses operate with elements of sustainable living, including agriculture and solar power.

What is the expected cultural experience?

Honduras is a warm, welcoming, and beautiful tropical culture. Volunteers should expect:

  • Hot, humid weather
  • Rustic living conditions
  • A slower, more relaxed schedule
  • Exposure to poverty
  • Opportunities to learn cultural humility and flexibility

A joyful, adaptable attitude is essential.

What are the expectations regarding technology and relationships?

To fully engage, volunteers are encouraged to unplug from social media, work, and entertainment and use phones primarily as cameras.
Because GH2K prioritizes healthy attachment and family bonding, volunteers are asked to:

  • Avoid excessive physical affection
  • Respect cultural norms regarding male-female interactions
  • Avoid being alone with children or young adults
  • Give gifts only through ministry leadership

What should I pack?

From the ministry’s packing guide:

  • Lightweight clothing that can get dirty
  • Modest apparel (shorts/skirts near the knee, no low-cut tops)
  • Work shoes, sandals, and flip-flops
  • Sheet set, pillowcase, towel
  • Toiletries and prescription medications
  • Water bottle, rain jacket, flashlight
  • Bible, journal, pen
  • Electrolyte drink mixes
  • Spending money

Who should consider going on this trip?

Anyone who:

  • Loves serving others
  • Is ready to grow spiritually
  • Can adapt to new environments
  • Wants to learn from another culture
  • Desires to see God’s love at work around the world
