David Jones, Lead Pastor
God has been preparing Pastor David and Kelly strategically and specifically to plant Relentless Church since their marriage in 1997. David and Kelly have been in ministry all of their adult lives. They were born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. They have three awesome kids: Mia, Jackson and Eli and two mediocre dogs: Ripley and Hooper.
Raf Gonzalez, Associate Pastor
Raf Gonzalez has been serving as associate pastor at Relentless Church since 2017, and leads our RC Students, Discipleship and Outreach ministries. He met his wife Misty in Boston and they eventually relocated to Versailles, KY where he would be baptized into new life, discipled by our lead Pastor David Jones, and called into full-time ministry. Raf and Misty live in Fuquay Varina with their four amazing kids, where you will often find them on a ball field or in the kitchen cooking together. In addition to Jesus and Relentless Church, Raf is passionate about New England sports and all things food.
Joy Bey, Associate Pastor
Joy has been passionately involved in the local church for more than 20 years. Her education and training in Intercultural Studies, Sociology and Masters in Church Ministry with a concentration in Biblical Counseling has aided her natural aptitude and passion for working with people from diverse cultural and social economic backgrounds. She enjoys helping people of all ages understand the truth about God’s word especially regarding reconciliation, diversity/justice issues and how much He loves them.

Sunday morning is still one of the most segregated days and times of the week. As an African American woman who has a diverse family in blood and in spirit it will always be my heart and belief that the multi-ethnic church should be the norm and not the exception.”
Seth Helfrich, Worship Director
Seth and Stephanie Helfrich were part of the original team of people who joined Pastor David in planting Relentless Church. Seth has been instrumental in building the worship team from the very beginning, and currently oversees and organizes worship and tech.
From an early age, music has always been a big part of Seth’s life. From playing in the worship band in youth group, to helping with worship services at several churches, camps and programs across Kentucky, it has been an instrumental part of his relationship with Jesus. He enjoys worshiping with others and sharing his gratitude for God’s grace and what He has done in his life, as well as teaching others to worship God from the experiences in their own life.
Seth and Stephanie have three great kids, Christian, Lucy and June. He also works as a studio audio engineer, loves everything Kentucky Wildcats, and is a huge hockey fan, cheering on the San Jose Sharks.

Tokishia Dockery-Ragland, Director of Operations & Children's Ministry
Tokishia has been in ministry since 2004 and loves the multicultural church! She began in Children’s Ministry after witnessing how foundational the presentation of the Gospel on a level tailored for kids could be. Tokishia has since led and helped churches establish ministries designed for kids, and has served as a resource in the establishment of organizational structures needed throughout various ministries in the church. She first attended Relentless in 2019 and has enjoyed the authenticity, transparency, and community that it provides.
She enjoys writing, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.One of her goals is to help bring out the best in everyone around her! Tokishia is married to Kendal and they share 3 children together, Kendal Jr., Khyan, and Kingston!
Melissa Benson, RC Kids Coordinator
Melissa has been a servant in RC Kids since year one of Relentless and has a heart for the untold and unconvinced. She understands the importance of leading children to the Gospel and is confident that children of all ages can understand and speak God’s truth! “I believe that kids can sometimes be the most impactful presence to the untold or unconvinced adults in their lives, because it’s part of my testimony! I gave my life to Jesus in my 20’s soon after my three year old son floored me by speaking God’s truth to me!”
God is a relentless God who actively pursues us even if we don’t even know Him yet! Melissa is married to Christopher and they live in Fuquay Varina with their four amazing kids, Lana, Everett, Noah and Killian. She also works for Lee County Public Schools as an elementary school art teacher.
